StealthMod™ Audio Upgrade for the 2011-Up Chevrolet Camaro Convertible

The StealthMod™ system has been thoroughly tested and engineered by our Stealthbox® development team and offers dramatic improvements in low-frequency extension and quality, significantly greater clean output capability, better imaging and better-balanced high-frequency response than the factory system. The difference is most impressive with the top down as the additional power on the front speaker system really helps overcome road and wind noise so that you can hear your favorite music in all its glory.

This particular StealthMod™ package has been designed for 2011-Up Chevrolet Camaro Convertibles. It will not fit the Camaro Coupe.

This StealthMod™ package contains:

1 ea. SB-GM-CAMCONV/10W1v2 Stealthbox® with dual 10W1v2-4 subwoofer drivers
1 ea. XD700/5 system amplifier
1 ea. Custom-engineered amplifier mounting bracket (steel)
1 pr. C3-650 Convertible Speaker Systems
1 pr. Custom-engineered speaker adaptor plates
1 ea. System wiring harness (includes power, speaker and signal wiring)
1 ea. HD-RLC remote subwoofer level control

Building on the outstanding performance of the Stealthbox® for the Camaro Convertible, we add a 700W XD system amplifier to power the Stealthbox® and the C3 components that replace the OEM speakers in the front doors. Filters are also provided to modify the crossover point of the factory tweeters for better system performance. The factory system continues to power the rear speakers. The supplied HD-RLC Remote Level Control can be mounted in the front of the vehicle to be used as an easily accessible subwoofer level control.

The Stealthbox® installs in the front of the trunk compartment, beneath the space needed to stow the convertible top when it is lowered. The folding action of the convertible top is not affected and the Stealthbox® is shaped to allow full access to the under-floor battery compartment. The XD700/5 amplifier installs in the under-floor compartment on a custom bracket supplied with the kit. The C3 component speakers install in the front doors with the supplied mounting plates and replace the factory-installed door speakers.

Please note: Much like a performance modification to an engine or suspension will invalidate portions of a vehicle's factory warranty, the installation of a StealthMod™ system will likely invalidate the factory warranty of the OEM audio system. JL Audio's warranties only cover the installed JL Audio equipment and do not extend to cover any failures of OEM (factory) equipment. While we have made every effort to create a reliable upgrade package, with great power comes great responsibility... meaning that the additional power offered by this upgrade can damage factory speaker systems if it is used in an abusive manner (driven into severe clipping, for example).

U.S.A. Warranty Information - StealthMod™ Mobile Audio Systems

JL Audio StealthMod™ Systems are warrantied against defects in materials and workmanship for Two (2) Years from purchase date. JL Audio will, at its discretion, repair or replace any products that exhibit defects in materials and/or workmanship during the warranty period.

Please hold on to your sales receipt! All warranty service requires original sales receipt documentation. The warranty only applies to the original purchaser from an authorized retailer.
Note: Products purchased from unauthorized dealers are not covered under warranty.


Warranty Limitations

The following is not covered under JL Audio's warranty program:
1. Product with defaced, altered or removed serial numbers (no valid, legible serial number = no warranty).
2. Product owned by anyone other than the original purchaser from an authorized JL Audio dealer. (The warranty is not transferable and will not apply to products purchased from unauthorized dealers.)
3. Product that has been physically abused (run over by a car or beat with a hammer, for example).
4. Product that has not been installed according to the instructions in the owner's manual
5. Product in which repair and/or modification has been attempted by unauthorized parties
6. Product damaged cosmetically due to improper handling or normal wear and tear
7. Product damaged in an accident, due to criminal activity (attempted theft, gunshot damage, etc.) or by 'acts of God' (flooding, lightning, locusts, etc.)
8. Custom finishes or other cosmetic treatments applied to products. (JL Audio will not be responsible for restoring or maintaining any custom finishes)
9. Installation and shipping costs associated with removing, re-installing or shipping the product to JL Audio for warranty service

If you need Service on your JL Audio Product:
All warranty returns should be sent to JL AUDIO freight prepaid through an authorized JL AUDIO dealer and must be accompanied by proof of purchase (a copy of the original sales receipt.) Direct returns from consumers or non-authorized dealers will be refused unless specifically authorized by JL AUDIO with a valid return authorization number. Warranty expiration on products returned without proof of purchase will be determined from the manufacturing date code. Coverage may be invalidated as this date is previous to purchase date. Return only defective components. Non-defective items received will be returned freight-collect. Customer is responsible for shipping charges and insurance in sending the product to JL AUDIO. Freight damage on returns is not covered under warranty. Always include proof of purchase (sales receipt).
