This is Terry Amey's "Never Too Young". It was meant to be a gift to his 3 year old daughter Zillah Jade. The understanding is that she is "Never Too Young" to have a car as nice as this.
The signal starts with the Sony CDX-M9905X cd player mounted in a custom center console that also contains various switches and an air ride pressure gauge. The console is made to match the rest of the interior with blue vinyl/white accents and matching woodgrain. From the head unit, the front and rear signals go to a Crossfire VR 404 4 channel amplifier that powers 4 1/2" Phoenix Gold coaxials in the dash, a 5 1/4" Phoenix Gold component set in the front doors, and Phoenix Gold 6x9 coaxials in the rear deck. The subwoofer signal is sent to a Crossfire VR 2000D that powers 4 JL Audio 10w6v2's in a 5 cu.ft. ported enclosure. The subs and the port fire into the back seat and additional venting is made possible through empty speaker grilles on the rear deck.
Most of the "highlights" of the system are visible when the custom motorized trunk lid is raised to show the full fiberglass "shell" that covers the entire trunk area. This cover is painted to match the car and has custom etched plexiglass windows to allow viewing of the subwoofers in action. In the rear of the trunk cover is another plexiglass window that has a custom logo cut out and polished that allows viewing of the Stinger 5 farad capacitor, the Optima yellow top battery, and air ride compressors/tank. Also of note in the trunk area is the underside of the trunk lid that has a custom neon lit sign that says, "Never Too Young...".
In addition to the system the car has a custom candy blue paint job, custom upholstered roof top, air ride suspension, new motor and transmission, 7" screen in the dash, 5.6" screens in the headrests, and it rolls on 20" wire wheels with Vogue tires.
This system really rocks and sounds excellent at high levels. It is perfect for a little showin' off around town and at car show
