This is the 30th Anniversary Cougar which has all the trimmings and was the last year this body style was made. This car in this trim and color package is one of about 2,500 made. It's got the 4.6L V8, leather interior, all the extras and I added a cold air intake, custom dual exhaust was done by Johnny at Automotive Excellence, upgraded the ignition system and now it's quite the sleeper.
The stereo was done by Ronnie Ezzell from Dashboard Stereo fame. The man is just on point with his installs. He used all JL Audio wiring including RCAs, power, switched, ground, fuseblocks and a 1.5 farad cap for the power side of things. I told him I wanted something that wouldn't add a ton of weight, would play loudly and stay clean. He hit the mark with no problems. We started with an Alpine CDA-9835 for clarity and ease of use. It has XM hooked to it along with an aux input for my phone/MP3 player setup. All mids and highs are Boston Acoustics SL series with 6 inch plates up front and 5x7's in the rear. The amp is a 500/5 and it runs everything up front along with the single 10w6v2 in a slot loaded box in the trunk. For one sub, it pounds it out.
