I got this truck after losing my last car in a bad accident. Everyone asked me if I would ever spend money on my truck after losing everything I invested in my last car. I said, "Are you joking? This one is going to be ten times nicer." Keeping to that promise, I have been working on this truck everyday since I have had it.
I wanted to do something that was unique, something that I had never seen before... so with that idea, work began. We pulled the third row and mounted the three JL amps in the footwell of where the third seat once was. Above that, we built a false floor to level out the trunk. The sub box is where the unique comes in. The box was built on a motorized track, which moves the box across the trunk. While driving the box sits over the amps, and when I want to display it, I slide the box forward, display the amps and also the inside of the box... definitely something I have never seen done before.
The truck is a work in progress because I will never settle on anything being good enough. Check out the pictures and let me know what you think about it.
