Miramar, FL — May 9, 2013 — JL Audio's patented High Output Enclosures are designed to deliver the ultimate high-performance bass experience with a rare combination of superb sound quality and awesome output. The new HO110-W6v3 ported enclosure combines the high power handling and small enclosure requirements of the JL Audio 10W6v3 subwoofer driver, creating a very compact subwoofer system that is capable of impressive output with moderate amplification.

JL Audio's patented, chamber-coupled port design (U.S. patent #6,65,292) wraps around the inner enclosure boundary and terminates just above the woofer, coupling the port output to the woofer's direct output. This also provides the necessary surface area and port length to maximize the performance of the W6v3 driver. This enclosure design has been carefully engineered to the optimum ported alignment for the 10W6v3, and has been fine-tuned through extensive real-world listening. 

This subwoofer system is shipped wired, loaded and ready to connect via a five-way binding post terminal. While no grille is provided, the recessed mounting baffle provides some protection for the woofer. A steel mesh woofer grille insert can be purchased separately (Model: SGR-10W6v2/v3), if additional woofer protection is desired.

Detailed Information: HO models use our patented, chamber-coupled port design. The slot-port wraps around the inner enclosure and terminates on the mounting plane of the woofer. This provides the necessary surface area and port length to maximize the performance of the driver, while also coupling the port output and direct woofer output to radiate together into the listening space.

The 5.25" stock speakers installed on many Harley-Davidson motorcycles simply cannot compete with the exhaust system on a Harley touring bike at speed-especially if the exhaust has been upgraded.

Installing high-quality 6.50" speakers in the fairing will dramatically improve the music experience for riders, while in motion. JL Audio's new speaker adaptor rings for Road Glide and Street Glide fairings are entirely designed, tooled, and manufactured in the USA from durable, virgin ABS plastic.  Both models are designed to accommodate the JL Audio C3-650 or C5-650 speakers and include all mounting hardware for the fairing and the speakers. The installed look is completely stock, but the sound certainly isn't.

The new C3-600 expands the C3 lineup with a direct-fit product for many Japanese vehicles that will not accept a full-size 6.5-inch speaker.

As with the larger JL Audio C3's, oversized woofer voice coils and a full 1-inch (25 mm) silk dome tweeter deliver strong output and superb sound quality. Patented thin-line woofer technology compresses the architecture of the 13TW5v2 using a "concentric tube" structure that supports the 7-inch diameter voice coil and the suspension attachments. This permits placement of the large motor structure much further forward in the speaker than with conventional designs while maintaining excellent linear excursion capability and mechanical stability.

The v2 improves upon the original 13TW5 with significantly greater linear excursion capability to unleash even more performance. The cast alloy chassis has also been strengthened, and the rear pole vent now features an annular vent. The v2 will be available in single 2 ohm and single 4 ohm voice coil versions to fit a wide range of applications.

In keeping with its "tight-spaces" mission, the 13TW5v2 is optimized for enclosures that are far smaller than most 12-inch woofers require and only a bit larger than the air space needs of a typical, small-box 10-inch woofer. The mounting system is designed to fit in about the same footprint as a typical 12-inch woofer.
