Las Vegas, NV – Palms Casino Resort – January 5, 2017 – JL Audio, an innovator in high-end audio solutions, revealed significant changes to one of its best-selling amplifier models. The company revealed a new, 250-watt Class-D circuit design that results in significantly reduced current draw and permitted a 29% reduction in the physical size of the amplifier. Feature content remains unchanged from the outgoing model, and consistent with the rest of the JX line.
For 2017, the JX Series lineup will continue to offer two monoblock, subwoofer amplifier models; plus a two-channel and a four-channel, full-range amplifier model. Each JX amplifier is built with oversized output transistors and rugged MOSFET power supplies that ensure ample current and thermal capacity.
Andy Oxenhorn, President of JL Audio says, "This is a really great update to one of our most popular amplifiers. Customers will appreciate the improved performance and the smaller footprint offered by the JX250/1D."
